CDC Director Announces Possible Change in what Constitutes “Fully Vaccinated”
By now, it’s quite obvious that we’ve apparently received many conflicting reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). From masks to mandates, the CDC has flip-flopped from one extreme to the next. Now, the Director of the CDC, Rochelle Walensky suggested on Friday that it’s time to change the definition of what constitutes being “fully vaccinated” as booster shots become more commonplace, according to a NTD News report posted on YouMaker.
CDC Director, Walensky admitted “We will not boost our way out of this pandemic. No vaccine, even a booster vaccine, provides 100 percent protection. So, even after you boost, it remains important for us to remain smart about our prevention strategies.”
While not mentioning a timeline or specific details about a possible change in redefining “fully vaccinated,” Walensky concluded: “We have not yet changed the definition of ‘fully vaccinated.’ We will continue to look at this. We may need to update our definition of ‘fully vaccinated’ in the future.”
It was just in late September during a COVID-19 briefing that Walensky stated that federal health officials were not considering changing the definition of “fully vaccinated, according to The Epoch Times.
