13-Year Old Pfizer COVID-19 Voluntary Trial Participant Paralized After Receiving Second Dose of Vaccine
Maddie De Garay previously experienced a normal healthy life as a straight-A student from Ohio before receiving her second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. As one of the 2,260 voluntary participants in the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine trial for adolescents which began in July 2020, Maddie received her second dose at the age of 12, according to an exclusive Asia Pacific Today interview (Watch Video) with her mother, Stephanie De Garay.
Maddie’s mother stated in the interview that she was not made aware of the possible side-effects that her now 13 year old daughter experienced as a result of the vaccine, also adding that none of the representatives with Pfizer had reached out to her family to provide financial assistance in the wake of complications that her daughter experienced. “Stephanie joined a Facebook support group to help people cope with the unexpected events happening from the coronavirus vaccine trial. Facebook shut it down,” according to the Pacific Today report.
According to Stephanie Garay’s interview statement in September 2021, her daughter Maddie was currently in a wheelchair and unable to feel from her waist down.
