Biden Administration Blocked by Judge From Terminating Unvaccinated Employees With Religious Exemptions
In the district court of Washington, D.C., a temporary injunction was issued on Thursday, barring civilian and military employees from being fired following a lawsuit targeting the White House’s vaccine mandate. Former President Bill Clinton appointee, District Judge Colleen Kollar “issued the temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction which prevents the plaintiffs from being fired while their religious exemption requests to the COVID-19 vaccine are pending,” according to an Epoch Times article.
In a statement issued to the press from the plaintiff’s attorney, Michael Yoder, Yoder said the Biden administration has displayed “an unprecedented, cavalier attitude toward the rule of law and an utter ineptitude at basic constitutional contours.” The Biden administration must file a supplemental notice by noon on Friday stating if they will agree to comply with the court’s ruling that no plaintiff will be fired or disciplined before the court rules in the case.
It appears that the Biden regime is facing serious legal backlash from federal workers across the board. However, reports have come out stating that the Biden administration says it will not halt firing employees seeking vax exemptions. The twenty plaintiffs in the lawsuit against Biden’s Sept. 9 executive order, are standing firm on their religious freedoms rights as their attorney, Yoder, stated to the press: "This combination is dangerous to American liberty," Yoder continued. "Thankfully, our Constitution protects and secures the right to remain free from religious persecution and coercion. With this order, we are one step closer to putting the Biden administration back in its place by limiting the government to its enumerated powers. It’s time citizens and courts said no to tyranny. The Constitution does not need to be rewritten, it needs to be reread."
