Florida Gov. DeSantis to Launch Election Crime-Fighting Unit Amidst Crowd Chants of ‘Let’s Go Brandon!”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has officially announced his aim to create a special police unit specifically designed to pursue election crime on a full-time basis. Chief among the legislation that DeSantis is proposing is increased penalties for election fraud. It looks like DeSantis is ahead of the game with regards to the Democrat’s relentless efforts to damage the integrity of the US voting system.
DeSantis went into great detail about his plan in a recent news press release, adding:
“We are excited to say that next legislative session we are proposing another package of election integrity reforms that will make Florida the number one state for elections,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “I am excited that with this legislation, our state will be able to enforce election violations, combat voter fraud and make sure violators are held accountable. If potential violators know they will be held accountable, they will be much less likely to engage in improper conduct in the first place.”
