Local Governments Join the Bandwagon of Anti-American Green Energy Wacos to Ban Natural Gas
It’s no surprise that Los Angeles is actually phasing out natural gas, effective Jan. 1, 2023! According to a Joe Pags report, “Los Angeles is phasing out natural gas hookups in all new residential and commercial buildings effective Jan. 1, 2023. The City of Angels is not alone. Msn.com reports that Los Angeles is California’s 57th locality to introduce commitments to phase out natural gas, and many cities across the country are following suit.”
That’s right, in a misguided effort to reduce emissions, localities are ignoring the commonsense rationale of how vital natural gas is for the entire country! While Democrats are ignorantly telling us to go electric, they fail to see that natural gas accounts for roughly 38% of electricity generation, and around 177 million Americans use natural gas to heat their homes and cook their meals, while also being an affordable energy source.
And despite the Democrats fake cries of green energy to reduce emissions, The U.S. The Energy Information Administration notes that “burning natural gas for energy results in fewer emissions of nearly all types of air pollutants and carbon dioxide (CO2) than burning coal or petroleum products to produce an equal amount of energy.”
It’s no wonder why the Democrats are so misguided that they fail to look at the data from the American Gas Association which clearly shows that “Nationwide, natural gas accounts for roughly 38% of electricity generation, and around 177 million Americans use natural gas to heat their homes and cook their meals.” Also, residentia “natural gas is estimated to cost almost one-quarter the price of electricity, which, according to the American Gas Association, adds up to an average annual savings of over $1,000 in household utilities,” according to an American Gas Association Analysis.
Bidnen’s anti-fossil fuels agenda not only lacks a commonsense approach but has also contributed to the reason why energy prices have risen over 30% in the last year.
