Kari Lake Continues to Hold on After Attorney General’s Letter

On Nov. 19 Kari Lake proclaimed that she will become governor amidst the state attorney general’s office demanding answers about alleged Election Day issues in the state’s largest county. Lake told the Daily Mail “The way they run elections in Maricopa County is worse than in banana republics around the world.” 

Lake’s response came after “Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich opened an inquiry into polling issues in Maricopa County, which also includes Phoenix and other cities on Nov. 8. The Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright also demanded that evidence be turned over on or before Maricopa County submits its official canvass to the Secretary of State”, according to Resist the Mainstream.

On Nov. 17, Lake released a comment that she will continue her fight in the state’s governor’s race, despite Hobbs already declaring victory. Currently, Lake released statements that she is collecting evidence and data with the brightest legal team in hopes of exploring every avenue to right the wrongs that were evident during Election Day.
