We all remember how the National Institutes of Health (NIH), affiliated health authorities, the mainstream media emphatically recommended against the use of ivermectin as a potential treatment for COVID during its early stages. Despite the Food and Drug Administration’s previous approval of ivermectin for human use, social media messages went viral about the drug being labeled by the FDA as a drug for horses and not fit for human consumption. And anyone who spoke against this narrative was immediately silenced!
Yet, we now know that many analyses of studies on ivermectin found it to be an effective prevention and treatment for acute COVID-19, even in advanced stages of infection by the virus. Ivermectin for Early and Acute COVID can directly interact with immune pathways, suppressing inflammation and improving gut health.
Studies on Ivermectin for Long COVID and Post-Vaccine Symptoms has shown successful results, alleviating long COVID symptoms--including coughing, brain fog, headaches, and fatigue.
Despite these studies, the NIH continued to give neutral statements of ivermectin for most of 2021, in unison with the FDA’s continued campaign against using ivermectin in COVID-19 patients. On Aug. 26 2021 the CDC also sent an emergency warning against using ivermectin, followed by the American Medical Association’s call for an end to ivermectin use. It seems apparent that this blatant overreach of health authorities continues to result in the lost of lives and the destruction of the careers of many good doctors.
