Intelligence Hearing with John Brennan: Still No Proof of Collusion!

The former CIA Director, John Brennan, testified on the alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election on Tuesday before the House Intelligence Committee. Brennan was expected to be questioned about the many leaks regarding national security issues since President Trump came into office.
At best, Brennan’s comments were evasive and passive, lacking a directness that became obvious. He made several references to information being classified, and that he would have to continue the discussion in a closed session. Liberal media pundits are licking their chops because Brennan left quite a few questions unanswered.
The opening statement of the hearing started with Brennan recounting how he previously briefed congressional leaders back in August of 2016. Among those whom he stated that he gave “full details” of what he knew about Russia’s involvement in the election were: House Speaker Paul Ryan (Republican, Wis.), Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Republican, KY), and the chairs and ranking members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees.
Brennan’s comments were laced with a great deal of speculation and quite often his comments leaned in the direction of what he felt or what his opinion was. Overall, there were no definitive remarks that demonstrated hard evidence that the Russians actually colluded with the Trump administration.
This hearing is a shameful waste of tax-payers dollars and a gross misrepresentation of the political system in place to care for the best interest of the American people. While President Trump is taking tremendous strides toward cleaning up the mess that his predecessors created, we have to sit and listen to these frivolous accusations!
Brennan was unable to specifically identify any individuals associated with the Trump campaign who had contacts with Russian officials and would not even say if there was any collusion or collaboration. He just gave an opinion as to why he was concerned.
What’s even more ridiculous is that following Brennan’s public testimony, he will testify in a closed-door session about more of his own speculation. This whole matter smells just like the same old swamp water! The American people are concerned about security, jobs, and working together to support President Trump in making this country great again. This hearing is a gross misrepresentation of the needs of the American people. It’s truly a shame that the left would actually sabotage the Presidential system and turn their backs on the voter’s choice for their own political gain!
