“Judiciary Committee Formed To Help Republicans Uncover FBI Abuses": Will We Finally Get Accountability?

Former President Joe Biden pardoned Liz Cheney for her crimes against America, but congressional investigators will continue to uncover the truth about what happened at the 2020 election protest at the United States Capitol, including the presence of FBI informants in the crowd, the placement and discovery of pipe bombs at party offices, and other FBI abuses.

Multiple sources say the Judiciary Committee will create a select subcommittee led by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., to continue the work of the previous Congress. As House Administration Oversight Subcommittee chair, Loudermilk led the prior effort. That panel revealed 40,000 hours of Jan. 6 surveillance footage, found interviews blocked by Cheney's committee that contradicted her made-for-TV claims, and referred Cheney for prosecution for tampering with star witness Cassidy Hutchinson. After secretly communicating with the former Republican legislator, Hutchinson, a low-level Trump associate, changed her story.

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi appointed Cheney to lead the committee and its broadcast show trial. She accepted a pardon for witness manipulation and other offenses.

After President Biden gave Liz Cheney the Presidential Citizens Medal for chairing a contentious committee that influenced the left's perception of the Jan. 6 demonstration, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson declared on social media on January 2 that the work would go on and be fully financed.

The Jan. 6 Select Committee attempted to harm Trump by fabricating a false narrative and manipulating and destroying evidence. "In a frantic attempt to legitimize what Americans knew was a complete fake and a ridiculous waste of time, they even engaged a TV producer from the legacy media," Johnson stated on X. "You can rest confident that House Republicans will fully fund our investigation into this corrupt committee so that it may continue in the upcoming Congress."

Loudermilk and his staff discovered transcribed interviews that Cheney's committee had suppressed due to their discrepancy with the narrative she was constructing, as previously mentioned. For instance, Cheney rejected evidence that President Donald Trump advocated for 10,000 National Guard troops to safeguard the nation's capital, asserting that she had "no evidence" to substantiate Trump officials' assertions that the White House had conveyed its desire for 10,000 National Guard troops.

In fact, that information from a key source was included in an early interview that was transcribed by the committee. The interview, which Cheney personally went to and took part in, was kept from the public. The first conversation with the committee that was typed up was with Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato on January 28, 2022. It said that he heard White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows telling Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser to ask for as many National Guard troops as she needed to protect the city. He told Cheney and her detectives about this. He also mentioned that President Trump had announced the need for 10,000 troops to maintain order during the protests and gatherings on January 6, 2021.

Ornato also talked about how frustrated the White House was with Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller for taking too long to send help on the afternoon of January 6. 2021. The committee not only gave a false account of the interview, but they also kept the record from the public. Also, people on the committee started writing negative stories and even plot theories about Ornato before they could talk to him again. Ornato was a career Secret Service agent who had been sent to the White House to work as a security guard.

In his TV statement, Hutchinson said that Donald Trump had grabbed the steering wheel and tried to take the car to the Capitol. The person who was driving the car said that Trump did not grab or reach for the steering wheel. The driver, who was a Secret Service agent, said, "I did not see him move to try to get into the front seat at all." Loudermilk showed that Cheney hid the whole evidence.

Information regarding the select subcommittee's makeup and funding is still being organized. Within the next two weeks, authorizing language will be finalized after being developed.
