Attorney General Pam Bondi Issues Dem. Rep Crockett a Warning About Violent Extremism Masquerading as Political Activism

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) received a severe warning from Attorney General Pam Bondi after the Democrat made offensive remarks calling on demonstrators to "take down" Elon Musk. Bondi's warning coincided with the coordinated nationwide protest campaign against Musk spearheaded by the Biden-aligned "Tesla Takedown" organization, which has legal authorities on high alert due to growing concerns about violent extremism masquerading as political activity.

On Sunday morning, Attorney General Pam Bondi addressed Rep. Jasmine Crockett's inflammatory rhetoric toward Elon Musk directly. She did not hold back. Speaking on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, Bondi emphasized the serious implications of Crockett’s remarks, especially given her role as an elected official. “Nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we’re going to fight to protect all of the Tesla owners throughout this country,” Bondi said, underscoring the government’s obligation to shield private enterprise from politically driven intimidation tactics.

The firestorm erupted after Crockett lent her voice to “The Tesla Takedown,” a loosely organized coalition targeting Musk over his bold government reform initiatives—efforts that have largely aligned with the agenda of President Donald Trump to slash federal bureaucracy and restore efficiency through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Crockett publicly exhorted Musk to be "taken down" during a speech at a virtual rally, asserting that the powerful only comprehend the language of money.

Although she promptly clarified that her calls were nonviolent, the timing and tone of her remarks have been questioned. Bondi's warning was not delivered in isolation. The Attorney General recently disclosed that the Department of Justice is pursuing charges against three individuals who were involved in vandalism at Tesla locations.

She classified these incidents as "domestic terrorism." The escalating hostility toward Musk and his companies appears to be part of a broader campaign by the political Left to vilify innovators who reject the regulatory stranglehold of big government. The “Tesla Takedown” movement, which has scheduled over 500 protests nationwide on March 29, coincides with Crockett’s birthday—a date the Democrat has described as symbolic of her hopes to “see Elon taken down.”

The sight of a sitting congresswoman aligning herself with coordinated protests, some of which have already caused property damage, raises concerns about the growing radicalism within the DNC's activist base.

Bondi emphasized that Crockett's status as a legislator entails an increased level of accountability. “We are not coming off these charges,” Bondi said, noting the DOJ’s aggressive stance on any behavior that escalates from protest to criminal activity. "We are investigating all possibilities, particularly if the activity is a coordinated endeavor." The progressive Left has increasingly targeted Elon Musk, who has emerged as a prominent ally of President Trump and a vocal opponent of government bloat and censorship. His support for deregulation, free speech, and economic revitalization—particularly through his leadership in the DOGE—has made him a natural target for Democrats desperate to cling to bureaucratic control.

According to her remarks, the administration is actively seeking enforcement under statutes that grant broad jurisdiction in times of national emergency in addition to appealing the decision. Bondi criticized Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) harshly on a different but related matter after she recently stated that she wanted Elon Musk "taken down" on her birthday. Bondi cautioned Crockett to "tread cautiously," pointing out the gravity of such statements from a sitting member of Congress. Days after accusing three people of damaging Tesla properties, Bondi issued the warning.
