Why Are Republicans Not Putting Forth An Effort to Obtain the Footage from the January 6 Alleged Riot?
Who would have ever imagined that we would be living in an America where war veterans and business owners, with no criminal records, could be locked away in solitary confinement in a D.C. jail without fair due process of the law! To date, the American public has not been permitted to see exactly what happened on January 6., forcing many of us to conclude: “What is being covered up by the U.S. Capitol Police and the Justice Department?”
The only footage of the alleged January 6 riot that we’ve seen thus far are a few social media clips. Conveniently, most of the sources were actually left-wing media sources, and we all know how trust-worthy those sources are. Yet, thousands of hours of real-time footage are in the possession of the Capitol Police.
An Epoch Times report noted: “...thousands of hours of real-time footage is in the hands of the Capitol Police—and that agency, along with government lawyers and federal judges, is using every legal trick possible to keep the trove hidden from the public even as clips are presented in court as evidence against hundreds of January 6 defendants…”
Our question is: “Where the hell are Republicans?” This is a clear coverup and there should be an overwhelming plea by Republicans for this footage to be released! Instead, the Justice Department, the FBI, the Capitol Police, and Congress are all doing everything in their power to prevent a thorough investigation of this footage!
While men and women are being unlawfully held in jail on unproven allegations over their unsubstantiated role in the alleged Capitol riot, the Republican Party remains silent with only a few simply paying lip service with no actions!
