TEENAGERS BODYSLAM ELDERLY WOMAN BEFORE THROWING HER INTO POOL

A teenage boy body-slammed an elderly woman and threw her in a pool after she complained to them about their loud music.
The elderly woman who was walking her two small dogs told the kids to turn down the volume of their music. Instead of obeying her orders, the kids opted to taunt the elderly woman. Some of them were heard chanting ‘Go home, go home’. This was before one of the group, an extremely tall lad –believed to be in his late teens or early twenties- grabbed the woman’s waist and slammed her to the ground. What is still not clear is whether the body slam was an intentional act or the teenager had picked her up before slipping on water on the poolside.
However, the boy grabbed the woman for the second time and carried her towards the water. Her two small dogs were also dragged along behind her, although they did manage to find an escape route.
The teenage boy proceeded to dump the woman into the pool before he fell in himself. It is still unclear whether the elderly woman sustained any wounds.
The rude video has sparked a huge backlash after it was first tweeted out by a user known as MIDNIGHT DRIVE. The boy, identified as 16-year-old, Leon Balfour, has since been ordered to home detention. As a punishment, he has been instructed to stay at home unless going to school, church or basketball practice.
Though attorney, Paul Molle described him as ‘a good kid.’ He said, “It’s an unfortunate situation, but I think with time it’ll pan out and we’ll get to see the real kid for who he is” however the rest of us say that he should’ve been held accountable for his actions and should have been charged with assault by slamming the 68 year old to the ground and attempted murder for throwing her in a pool not knowing if she could swim or not.
The victim of the incident has been identified as 68-year-old Nancy James.
