COVID Testing Company Raided by the FBI Accused of Providing Deceptive Test Results
After conducting a search of the Illinois headquarter of the Center for Covid Control, just days after the Minnesota Attorney General's Office filed a lawsuit accusing the company of providing false or deceptive test results, the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a search of the COVID-19 testing company.
The Hill reported that “more than $124 million was sent by the federal government to reimburse the Center for COVID Control for conducting COVID-19 tests, also adding: “At its busiest, the Center for COVID Control gathered more than 80,000 tests per day from over 300 locations across 26 states.”
Suspicions started surfacing whenever the 29-year-old founder Aleya Siyaj opened a new ax-throwing lounge and a donut shop, according to one report. A report in the Western Journal mentions how Siyaj and her husband, Akbar Syed, frequently shared details about their wealthy lifestyle on social media.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison was among the first to take action against the company, filing a lawsuit against the company in Hennepin County District Court. According to the public press release from Ellison’s office ““The Attorney General received numerous complaints from Minnesotans who submitted COVID-19 tests at pop-up sites around the state operated by Center for Covid Control who reported never receiving their test results from the company’s associated lab, Doctors Clinical Laboratory, despite waiting for weeks or more, or who received test results far later than the companies advertised,” the release stated.”
We suspect that this company is just one of many which have enriched itself from the COVID pandemic.

According to Rep.
