Will the Mainstream Media Continue to Burry Its Head in the Sand About the Tren de Aragua Illegal Criminal Alien Invasion in Dallas?

Last week, three members of the Venezuelan street gang Tren de Aragua were taken into custody by Dallas, Texas, police on suspicion of aggravated robbery related to a violent home invasion that occurred in late September.

The criminal complaint claims that the woman homeowner was robbed, taken into the house, bound, and confronted by four men as she was getting out of her car after pulling into her garage. The robbers threatened to amputate the woman's fingers, struck her over the head with a revolver, and took things like jewelry and a Gucci purse.

Police arrested the first suspect, Manuel Hernandez-Hernandez, 28, based on a single fingerprint and CCTV footage of a car in the neighborhood. Following a confrontation with police near Dallas-Ft. Worth airport, the other three suspects—27-year-old Wilmer Jesus Colmenares-Gonzalez, 34-year-old Carlos Alberto Martinez-Silva, and 20-year-old Yean Brayhan Torrealba-Sanabria—were taken into custody last week.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a detainer on all four individuals, who are Venezuelan. Hernandez-Hernandez told authorities that at least three of the men belonging to the Tren de Aragua gang were involved. As of right now, federal immigration authorities have verified that Colmenares-Gonzales, one of the accused, is a Tren de Aragua member. According to reports, Mr. Colmenares-Gonzales is still awaiting Temporary Protected Status (TPS), which would have prevented him from being deported if it had been approved.

An increasingly unsettling reality has been brought home by the attack in an upscale neighborhood: widespread migration has made it easier for criminal alien gangs to spread throughout the United States and target Americans for criminal activity. Gangs from other nations are a threat, even though Tren de Aragua makes headlines. Eight Salvadoran gang members were taken into custody in October 2024 after committing a number of offenses, including sex crimes, in the affluent neighborhoods of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

The tragedy is that many of these gang members are coming to the United States under the Biden-Harris immigration laws, even though Americans are instinctively appalled by the brutality committed by Tren de Aragua and other illegal foreign gangs.

According to the New York Post, Colmenares-Gonzalez, his wife, and a Chilean child entered Brownsville, Texas, unlawfully in April 2023. They were promptly freed with a court date set for the future. Hernandez-Hernandez was freed with a future court date after breaking the law by entering El Paso, Texas, in March 2024.
