Virginia, Loudoun County School Board Member Beth Barts Resigns Amidst Recall Petition
On Friday, Virginia, School Board member of Loudoun County, Beth Barts announced on social media platforms that she will resign from her position in November. Barts’ resignation was recorded on the Loudoun County Public Schools’ official website.
Barts’ resignation came amidst a recall attempt that was initiated by a group of parents, organized under the name “Fight for Schools.” The group also alleged on its website, referencing a Daily Wire report, that Barts ignited a targeting campaign against parents opposing critical race theory via social media platforms.
According to a National Review report on Barts’ decision to resign, “ the resignation came days after county resident Scott Smith alleged that a gender fluid boy wearing a skirt sexually assaulted his daughter in a school bathroom on May 28, in an interview with the Daily Wire.” In a press release, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office said “There has been misinformation circulating regarding an investigation into a reported sexual assault that occurred on May 28, 2021, at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, VA.”
The incredible actions of Virginia’s Loudoun County parents represents what can truly be accomplished when we all stand in solidarity to push back against left-wing indoctrination of our school children.
