OH SNAP! FBI Investigates James Comey’s 2015 Infiltration of President Trump’s First Campaign. How Many Heads Will Roll?

By The Blog Source

The FBI has begun an inquiry into a clandestine operation purportedly led by former FBI Director James Comey in 2015 to infiltrate Donald Trump's first presidential campaign. The FBI is currently led by Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino. According to reports, the operation was concealed from inspection and maintained off the books after being revealed by a whistleblower last year.

In a covert operation distinct from Crossfire Hurricane, two female FBI undercover agents allegedly infiltrated Trump's campaign at Comey's direction. The whistleblower asserted that the investigation was without legal foundation, characterizing it as an endeavor to identify any material that could be employed against Trump. The undercover operatives were promoted within the FBI and transferred to the CIA in apparent attempts to avoid criticism.

Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino are currently leading the FBI in a new investigation into the beginnings of what one whistleblower called a covert and politically driven infiltration of Donald Trump's 2016 campaign. The Washington Times said that Comey personally oversaw the clandestine operation starting in 2015, prior to Crossfire Hurricane, and instructed two female FBI undercover agents to become "honeypots" inside Trump's campaign.

Former FBI Director James Comey allegedly oversaw an undercover probe into Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, according to a whistleblower report. These claims, which imply the operation was hidden from routine FBI oversight procedures, are being examined by the House Judiciary Committee.

A "honeypot" is an intelligence officer who poses as someone who is interested in someone romantically or sexually to obtain information. The whistleblower, who was directly aware of the investigation, claimed that the agents went on high-level trips with Trump's staff but gave no proof that they found any evidence of wrongdoing. Notably, the program avoided Justice Department review since it was never recorded in official FBI systems.

Unlike Crossfire Hurricane, which attempted to link Trump to Russia through false accusations, this earlier investigation appeared to be a haphazard attempt, initiated without a proper case file. The whistleblower revealed that FBI staff members received a clear warning not to discuss the operation—a warning that was taken as a direct threat.

After a large news organization acquired a photo of one of the undercover agents and was ready to publish it, the investigation was finally closed. The FBI's press office stepped in and made up the story that releasing the image would endanger the life of an FBI informant. Later, one of the agents was sent to the CIA, where she was protected from examination, and the other was elevated to a senior FBI position.

The FBI is trying to find anyone participating in the operation and determine the full scope of Comey's actions now that Patel and Bongino are in charge of the organization. Regarding the continuing inquiry, the FBI has refrained from commenting.
