President Trump Put’s Federal Government Censorship On Notice: Day One!
By The Blog Source
On his first day in office, President Donald Trump issued an order to abolish "federal censorship," which may put an end to the government-censorship system.
"The Federal Government violated the constitutionally guaranteed right to free expression of American individuals by attempting to combat'misinformation,' 'disinformation,' and'malinformation,'" the order states. "In a free society, government suppression of expression is unacceptable."
According to the order, "the previous administration violated free speech rights by restricting Americans' speech on online platforms, frequently by applying significant coercive pressure on third parties, like social media companies, to moderate, deplatform, or otherwise suppress speech that the Federal Government did not approve."
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the Department of Homeland Security is a central location for censorship inside the federal government. In 2020, CISA collaborated with "Zuckerbucks" and targeted election-related speech that it considered to be "misinformation."
CISA hosted a document online showing its collaboration with outside organizations to filter discourse before the 2020 election. It was written by the SCC and GCC to assist "state, local, tribal, and territory election officials" in implementing a "broader mis-, dis-, and malinformation (MDM)" approach.
Kennedy suspended his own presidential campaign and stated, "President Biden and his White House opened up a portal and then invited the CIA, the FBI, CISA—which is a censorship agency, the center of the censorship-industrial complex—DHS, IRS, and other agencies—to censor me and other political dissidents on social media."
Last year, the House Judiciary Committee discovered that CISA circumvented the First Amendment and public outcry by "laundering its censorship efforts" through the EIP before the 2020 election. The EIP provided "chosen stakeholders," such as the federal government, academic institutions, and Big Tech corporations, with access to "misinformation" reports.
In an early move toward his campaign pledge to end what he called government "censorship" of Americans, President Donald Trump issued an order on Monday prohibiting any federal officer, employee, or agent from unconstitutionally restricting the free expression of any American citizen.
In front of a crowd at Capital One Arena on Monday night, Trump signed the order Restoring Freedom of Speech and Ending Federal Censorship. One of his first moves after taking office again was this.
The directive also directs the attorney general to look into any free speech violations in federal government acts during the four years of the Biden administration and to suggest "remedial actions," depending on the results, after consulting with other heads of executive agencies, according to one report.
Trump's order, which he signed onstage at Capital One Arena among a slew of other executive measures, demonstrates how eager he is to crack down on what he deems the "censorship cartel" on his first day in office.
