Emails Show: Early Reports of COVID-19 Injuries and Deaths Were Known by Fauci and NIH
Documents obtained by Children's Health Defense show that in 2021 and 2022, reports of injuries and deaths following COVID-19 vaccinations reached NIH researchers, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and others. Among these reports were a child injured during a clinical trial by the Pfizer vaccine and a fatal case of myocarditis caused by the vaccine.
According to documents obtained by Children's Health Defense (CHD), a number of adverse event reports from people injured by the COVID-19 vaccines reached National Institutes of Health (NIH) researchers in 2021 and 2022. Among these reports was one of a child who was injured during a clinical trial by the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
Additionally, emails from a COVID-19 vaccine injury victim dissatisfied with the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Board's (CICP) sluggish response to their vaccine injury claims are included in the documents, along with accounts of suicidal vaccine-injured individuals and correspondence with government officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci.
The CDC told one affected person that receiving a second dose was "not prudent" as reports of vaccine-related problems began to come in.
Email exchanges between the NIH and individuals reporting COVID-19 vaccination problems are included in the 300-page set of papers that CHD was given access to on April 21. In November 2022, CHD filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and obtained the documents.
After the NIH failed to reply to the request, CHD filed a lawsuit on April 12, 2023, to get access to the records. The NIH consented to furnish up to 7,500 pages of information at a rate of 300 pages per month as part of a settlement in October 2023. The batch from this month also showed that as early as December 2020, Fauci and FDA officials in the United States were aware of serious side effects from the COVID-19 vaccination.
