Psaki Stumped When Asked Why Americans Should Die for a NATO that Won’t Meet Its Defense Commitments
We all can recall when President Trump told NATO-member nations that American taxpayers are done paying for their defense if they don’t meet their financial obligations. A whopping 23 of the 28 member nations are not paying what they should be paying for their defense, according to a People's Pundit Daily article.
According to a Trending Politics report, Jen Psaki was asked during a recent press release: “So, given that our NATO “allies” won’t take their own defense seriously and spend enough to prepare for a conflict, why should the US get involved in sending troops abroad to fight and die for them?”
The report continued: “Psaki didn’t give a particularly coherent answer. Rather, she hemmed and hawed, accidentally calling Biden the VP. She said: “Well, we are continuing to advocate for all members to reach the 2 percent goal that has been the vi- — the President’s position since he was the Vice President — so, for many years now. I would say that we have a sacred obligation under NATO, and we believe it is also in our interest to support our eastern flank countries and their security, and also to be clear about the value we have as Americans, which is that no country should be able to take with force another country, as Russia is attempting to do at this point in time.”
But here’s the thing: Ukraine is not a NATO country. Ukraine isn’t a member of NATO. It’s truly appalling how clueless the Biden regime continues to be!
