Arizona Senate in the Fight for Election Integrity Issues New Subpoena for 2020 Election Audit
Setting an example of what all Republicans should be focused on amidst current political distractions, Arizona Senate President Karen Fann and Arizona Senate Judiciary Chairman Warren Peterson issued a new subpoena to Arizona’s largest county on July 26 related to the 2020 election. Since May 2021, Maricopa County’s Board of Supervisors had refused to be transparent in the collection of voting data associated with the 2020 presidential election, defying a judge’s ruling.
County officials made excuses, using a common Democrat stall tactic, claiming that releasing election data would pose a security risk. But it looks like the Board’s luck has run out with this stall tactic as the Republican controlled Senate commanded the turnover of all usernames, and passwords for machines used in the election.
Surprisingly, Republicans Sen. Michelle Ugenti-Rita who was previously for the audit recently came out against the audit. Ugenti-Rita was recently booed off stage at a conservative event. Also, Republican, state Sen. Paul Boyer sided with Democrats in preventing the resolution from being approved. It’s growing more appalling by the day to see so many Republicans who are coming out of the closet as “Swamp Dwellers!”
