The source revealed that the shooter (suspected to be a disgruntled employee), entered the building during the drivers’ morning meeting and opened fire on the victims before turning the gun on himself.

A witness who was in the building at the time of the incident, said she believes it was a driver shooting at some of his colleagues while a morning meeting was going on.
According to UPS, police have taken control of the building.

UPS released a statement Wednesday saying, "UPS confirms there was an incident involving employees within the company's facility in San Francisco earlier this morning.  Local law enforcement has control of the facility and are conducting an investigation.  The company is cooperating with law enforcement.  We cannot provide information as to the identity of persons involved at this time, pending the police investigation."

David Phister, a man who lives across the street, testified that he heard four shots fired at 9 a.m.   He said he heard four more when he ran towards the window after a brief moment of silence.
