Aaron Hernandez Commits Suicide...Really? Not So Fast
Authorities say that convicted murderer and former Football star, Aaron Hernandez hanged himself at the Souza Baranowski correctional center (which is a maximum security prison situated in Lancaster) on Wednesday.
Aaron, 27, was born in Bristol, Connecticut and he played college football at the University of Florida. He was also a tight end for the National Football League side, the New England Patriots. Aaron’s body was found at 3:05 a.m. and it was revealed that he hanged himself with a bedsheet that was attached to a window in his cell.
A statement by the correction department reads. “Lifesaving techniques were attempted on Mr. Hernandez, and he was transported to UMass Leominster, where he was pronounced dead at 4:07 a.m.”

Did Aaron Hernandez really kill himself? Well, his attorney Jose Baez is now calling for a thorough investigation into whether the ex-NFL was murdered instead.
Spectators think something is not adding up. Hernandez was just acquitted on murder charges and he was looking forward to proving his innocence on related charges that handed him a life sentence behind bars.
Sources say that Aaron Hernandez was alone in a single cell in the general population wing of the prison and the statement further disclosed that he “attempted to block his door with various items”. The assistant deputy commissioner of communications, Christopher Fallon revealed to newsmen that no suicide note had been found. Hernandez’s death coincides with a day his ex-teammates would be visiting the White House to celebrate their recent success in the Super Bowl.
Until his death, Aaron Hernandez was serving a life jail term after being convicted of killing Odin L. Lloyd in 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Aaron Hernandez’s fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins. Lloyd’s body was found by a jogger in a pit at an industrial park close to Aaron Hernandez’s home in North Attleboro. Aaron Hernandez was found guilty in April 2015 and was subsequently sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Odin Lloyd was until his death, a semiprofessional football player.
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn described the incident as a “shocking and sad end to a very tragic series of events that has negatively impacted a number of families. Mr. Thomas Quinn prosecuted the Odin Lloyd’s case.
On Friday, Aaron Hernandez was found not guilty in another case, a two-count charge of murder in a drive-by shooting of two people in Boston in 2012.
